I fell asleep this evening and forgot to write this. As you can see, some folks have been waiting.
As you can see by the parrots concerned looks, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

It was not a productive day. An experiment in quilting went badly, a lot of work will have to be done to undo it, and then I will have to start over. My machine may need to go to the shop as well. Bad day and then I fell asleep without taking care of this. Oh well, I know you all forgive these little things and I appreciate it.
