With so much time at home, I have spent way too much of it on the interwebs, watching YouTube videos. I have watched a lot of cooking videos and a fair bit of art and general crafts. I have learned tons o stuff about quilting. There is even a site that has tutorials for my sewing machine where the lady shows you how to do everything the machine does. I had to watch one the other day on what the zipper foot looked like and how to use it. YouTube suggests things to watch and that can lead me far afield. The newest weirdness I have discovered is Useless Machines.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
