Doesn’t he look comfy?  Razzle came along soon after this, laid down on top of him and squashed him about flat.  Mr. Zen dug Moose out and he loped off into the back of the house.

As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Moose is pretty brave and adventurous.  If Razzle is in the house, Squirrel will not come out but if she is outside, then Squirrel plays with Moose in the cat tree.  They like to watch the birds and butterflies in the garden, dreaming of catching them some day.

Looking out the window from the cat tree.

They will sleep up there, frequently together in the same cubby with Moose in front of Squirrel like he is defending her.  Then they play fight and he chews the bejabbers out of her.  She squeaks, and Razzle wants to get involved.  I have to keep a squirt gun handy to deter her from interfering and to stop Moose from biting Squirrel too hard.

But I wanted a better picture of Squirrel and she is hard to photograph.  She darts around so quickly, hardly landing anywhere for more than mere seconds.  But I got this one, a little pale, but I think it is pretty good.  The one they had online was actually Moose.  I will replace it with this one if I don’t get a better one soon.

Such a pale little girl, rather shy and unsure of Razzle.

I also have pix of my finally finished batik stripe quilt.  Here it is, front and back. I think it is reversible if you wanted to.  Mr. Zen likes the back better than the busy front.

In my front yard for a change

I like the back too.

This shows the quilting detail somewhat

So this is what I have been doing.  Right now, everyone has eaten and the furchildren are all sleeping.  So is Mr. Zen, on the couch.  I will have to send him off to bed pretty soon.  You will be reading this in the middle of my night but I will catch up with you all in the morning.  Be safe and be well.
