When they started the newest incarnation of dailykos changes a some time ago, one of first things to go were our signature lines. Many of us used them to wonderful effect and I miss them, as do others. As the new changes are taking place and our familiar DK is replaced with something alien and for a few, unusable, it has been mentioned from time to time that we miss the sig lines.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

Every word of this is true for me. I get very angry when I realize Prine died of covid, killed by tfg and his madness. But that is neither here or there. The subject is sig lines.
