This picture show all the progress I have made so far. I have all the shelves sewn in and filled. Now I have to do the sides and the top and bottom. Come on in for a lot of pictures of the features. Warning: all actual blocks are much squarer than they appear!

DK Quilt Guild is a place for quilters to gather, share ideas, projects, and to make the world a
better place, one quilt at a time. Join us and share your thoughts, projects, questions, and tips. Quilters here are at many different levels of skill. Beginners and non-quilters are welcome, too.
Would you like to write a future DK Quilt Guild diary? We NEED writers! Your diary can be elaborate and full of photos, a simple story of your own quilting history or that of someone you love, a discussion of a current project or a technique you're learning, new adventures... You could post quilt retreat-day recipes (things like crockpot meals, so food appears without much attention from you)... We could do show and tell or open thread, also, but either way, we need diarists to host. It is EASY if you're willing to take the chance. Please join in! Please volunteer within the comments or you can send Pam from Calif a kosmail.
This is the bookend cat. I think her colors are stunning and hope I did a credible job of top stitching the applique. I love the way she looks. I wish the fabric had her printed in the other direction so I could have had a pair. Oh well!

This fish bowl is nice and bright, with its fat fan tail carp.

A picture of the kids. All bald kids, what’s up with that? I don’t know but they are cuties.

Just a vase. But I will make sure it is flatter before this is over. I may stitch on it.

I really wanted a clock but had no fabric with such a graphic, so I took a piece of paper, some scissors and cut this shape. I could not have drawn it but I can cut stuff out of paper and adjust until I get what I want. No graphic for the face, so hand drawn. I like the leaning books, they are on every shelf but this block has the book jammed in too.
I found about ½ a dozen of different tea cups, each on its own fabric square and numbered in my Asian tote. It fit so well.

None of the books have titles but some have text. These are 3 of them. I put this on at the top as an invitation to look for text.
I had two of these Royal Stuff “books” and wouldn’t you know it, they are one below the other in the finished top. I am not taking one out to fix it, my real bookcases have the same thing with LOTR books. It happens.
No more pictures! I am quite pleased with this so far. I hope to get the top finished this week and then I have other, pressing little projects I need to get done NOW!
Show us what you are doing. We love to see everyone’s work. Also, sign up to write a diary. They are fun and an easy way to brag about what you have going on.
