Here are the promised photos of my Christmas decorations. The pix are my usual poor quality but I did the best I could. They are fun anyway.

As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

This is the opening that looks into the kitchen. Everything on this swag is blue, white or silver.

This is the overhead from the living room to the den. It has many of my fave ornaments, away from the danger of the cats. All are too small to see here.

This is the new artificial tree, fluffed out. It looks pretty good and I am happy.

Here is the tree lit up. All the ornaments on it are unbreakable so the cats can’t do any harm. I don’t remember them being too interested in the tree last year, but I can’t remember what I had for lunch, so there you have it. This is my fireplace and the mantle is a good place for the nut crackers and there are antique bubble lights in the back but they are not turned on here. Sorry.

This is the first of 3 bookcase shelves. My first red truck is in this one. The greenish orb you see is one of 6 that change color. The fairy is bisque. I made the snow men in the 2nd shelf, one of only two of my own works that I kept. The hanging ornaments, too small to see, were from my grandmother.

This is the middle bookshelf. The hanging mermaid is resin but looks like the other bisque ones I have. You have to squint to see the frogs hanging but they are very cute and are each holding mistletoe. The clock faced plate is part of a set that Dept 56 created but never produced beyond one set. I have 3 pieces of it. It is decorated with Dickens characters.

The bisque fairy hanging here is the first I ever bought. I have a few now but have stopped buying such things. You can see I have enough to last. The standing Santa is also bisque but of a much older vintage and Mrs Santa has that lace they used to use that turned hard and crispy when the figure was kiln fired.

Okay folks, that is the grand tour. Things are small, lighting is uncertain, my skills are lacking but it is Christmas anyway. I hope your home is full of warm memories and pretty little things of the holiday.
