This is not a quilt, it is a banner. I am posting this quickly since I am on my way to the Improv to see Henry Cho with friends. Close ups of the parts below. The pix are lopsided but you can see the details pretty well. The panel was very cute.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. I cut up the panel into these blocks and made them fit using the black dotted fabric. Then I put on the green border that I then quilted with a squiggle pattern. The binding is that black dotted fabric again.
A small undertaking that gives me the satisfaction of something finished. I hope you enjoy it.
