I have some DIYs and quilts to show today. I have been promising some pix for a while. I took all these photos in my garden but you don’t see much of it. The one above is made with part of a round wreath form to make the half moon. I printed out the text on just paper because I don’t have a Cricket machine. I am sure I could put on to good use.
As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. This heart was a pain in the patoot to make. I really loved it when I saw it but hated it by the time it was finished. The yarn was hard to wrap and make even. But, it is pretty.
This is a jar shaped block of wood. I like the burlap flowers and the fern and the paper is hand made but not by me. I bought a little twist drill and was able to drill holes in the top for the flowers. It’s fun.
I have used this envelope piece before and love the things I can do with it. I took the front piece off and spaced it so it stood out and gave a place for the flowers.
This arrow design caught my eye in a video and I had all the supplies, so here it is.
I made this X quilt for the mothers and babies at “Walking with Moms”. It is a bright way to use up some fabric.
I love this! I like the red and blue although Lil Zen told me it vibrates. I know red makes blue recede. The red and blue fabrics have stars on them. I love the little squares that bounce up and down and if you enlarge it a little, the center square has the greatest frog playing a flute. I would actually keep this one were things different.
Well, that’s it for this week. I had almost a full week less time to do these than usual and I am still working on the other standard door prizes and the raffle basket. I will get it done on time. Have a good day.
