When we bought this house, Mr. Zen had one demand-No alley. And I had one demand-two toilets. We both got our wishes. I had lived on an alley all my life and had no idea so many neighborhoods had islands of houses that all backed up to each other. Its great. I didn’t care if both toilets were in the same room, there just had to be two. Our house in Lynwood had 3 baths. However, I have always had to share the 2nd bathroom with the cats.

As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!
IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Moose and Squirrel love the bathrooms. The main bath is fancy and the 2nd one WAS decorated with cat figurines and tchotchkes. All of that is packed now that the kittens have run of the place. Their food is there and the cat box is in the unused shower. They play in there a lot since there is a mouse hole in the door and it keeps Razzle out. Squirrel is always right there when I am using the facilities. She puts her head between my knees and her paws on the rim and purrs loudly. She climbs into my scanties. She watches as it flushes and get bonked lightly on the head by the slow closing lid. She steals TP out of my hand and attacks the roll when I am not looking. Moose comes and and watches but usually doesn’t interfere.
When I clean the cat box, it is a never ending cycle of scooping and tossing kittens. I am working there, and one of them comes over my right shoulder, into the cat box. I scoop, and toss that one over my left shoulder. The next one comes over my right shoulder as I scoop and out it goes over my left. This continues until I have finished cleaning and then they both deposit new bits immediately.
Today, they went into the main bath room. They played in the still wet tub, leaving little kitty paw prints everywhere. They moved to the sink where they pulled out the sink stopper plug and left it on my mat in the kitchen. They got into Mr. Zen’s oral care stuff and stole one of the parts which they also left in the kitchen. I think they are leaving me gifts. I have closed that door.
Its fun living with these two. They are a team that works together, eats together, sleeps together. It is a double whammy!
