As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. I used this trick this week to make a Halloween witch sing using a wooden blank from Dollar Tree. That made me want to look up a video to see how this is presented to a new generation. What I found is all the videos are at least 10 years old! I have been using it for many years longer than that. I may have learned it in high school. I am putting one of the videos here so you can see how to do it just for informational purposes only, of course! Teehee.
I also found this video of a family that used just the paper mache technique to cover the floors of their house! (They did not burn glue on the floor) It is an interesting video in that is was made 4 years after they did the work and answers questions I would have asked. If I was single and could do what ever the hell I wanted with my home, I would do that to my floors because the hard wood is so old and has been redone to the point it is too thin to sand again and too bloody expensive at this point in my life. The rate of return on investment is just not there. But I have to consider others and Bill would lose it completely!

I have been doing way too much sign crafting but it is keeping me busy and beating depression back. I may have to set a table up in the front yard and offer them to passers by to get rid of them! If you see something here you like, let me know. I am happy to give them to friends and interested folks. I have new projects lined up. Now, if I can only stay out of Dollar Tree for a couple of weeks and use up all the shit I already bought!
I probably won’t be doing as much for the next week or so as I adjust to having a broken ankle and the mobility problems that entails. I am just whining, I’ll be fine. Please do a better job of taking care of yourselves.
