IAN: Thursday 9/1/2022 Blah, blah, blah

Well, after the visit to the kind folks at ortho, things quieted down. Margie brought lunch and stayed to visit for a couple of hours and I have dinner in the fridge.  It was good to spend time with her.  I have gotten lonely.

As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wild fires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off DKos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on DKos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care!

IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Every member is an editor, so anyone can take a turn when they have something to say, photos and music to share, a cause to promote or news!

Moose, in the opening picture has been very interested in the pump that is helping drain fluids from the incisions.  He is trying to get in to the pocket drawer under my walker, but no luck.

Here is Squirrel rolling the dice.  I painted them and put calendar pix on them for a friend.

Before surgery

Moose has stayed pretty close to me and did this touching a few times off and on.  Its interesting how the animals react. He is on the desk next to me right now.

Mama ok?

The dr I saw this morning said the pain block may last as long as 36  hours so I hope for a good night’s sleep.  He told  me to take my pain meds now because they are anti inflammatory as well, so I am.

No other news.  Take care.
