I have no idea where I collected this image. I cut things out of magazines, used old advertising sheets, bought some images, and just plain stole others. I did not copy anything and use it repeatedly for sale items, although this was an art card offered with others of mine at a shop near the shore. I never received any money for them and they may never have actually sold but the joy was in the making anyway. I just loved these two little charmers. i offer thanks and appreciation to the original artist.
Collage art kind of is the theft of bits and pieces of other work, cut, changed and combined to show another view. On closer inspection of this piece, I feel I should have done more modification of the central image to avoid overuse of the photo but it really was made for my pleasure. I did try to find it on Google to give credit but no luck. So, if it is your work, thanks. If not, I think its real cute.

Christmas is sneaking up on me and yesterday, the president of my quilt guild called to say I need to buy 25 $10 gifts for the luncheon in a couple of weeks. I don’t have to buy 25 gifts for my family but now I am on the hunt for fun, inexpensive things. I will be reimbursed for the costs, which will be interesting since I have never asked for any money for the things I provide but $250 is more than I usually invest.
